In this chapter I'll teach you about The Dangers of Lightning. First off lightning can cause severe destruction. Lightning is one of the main destructions in the world. I think almost 9% of the power outages come from lightning. It's just a guess I came up with. The average thunderstorm is 15 miles and lasts about 30 minutes. Only about 10% of thunderstorms are classified as severe. The basic ingredients to make a thunderstorm are moisture, unstable air, and lift. You need moisture to form clouds and rain. You also need unstable air that is relatively warm and can rise rapidly. These can form mountains, sea breezes, and or fonts. They say that thunderstorms could start from 4pm and end at 9pm. This would be a long thunderstorm! Despite their size ALL thunderstorms are dangerous!
